Kierstin A. Mohoff, Founder

Kierstin A. Mohoff is the Founding Member and Principal of Mohoff Law LLC, renowned for her dedication to providing exceptional legal representation and personalized service to her clients. With a comprehensive understanding of family law, she has built a reputation for her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to justice.

Kierstin earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa. She furthered her education at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, where she obtained her Juris Doctor. During her time in law school, Kierstin was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, president of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and actively involved in various legal clinics and internships, honing her skills and gaining valuable experience in diverse areas of law.

After graduating from law school, Kierstin embarked on her legal career in private practice family law, where her work consisted primarily of uncontested divorces, as well as assisting with drafting and negotiations in contested divorces and parentage cases. Kierstin then moved on to the Family Defense Division of the Cook County Public Defender’s Office, where she represented parents with allegations of abuse/neglect from DCFS, adjudication hearing trials, and termination of parental rights trials. Her passion for helping families navigate complex legal issues led her to establish Mohoff Law LLC, where she has dedicated her practice to matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and more.

Kierstin is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association.
